Bruce J Michell: Glad to say that on 19th May 1944, Blackstone's Spitfire Mk.IX MK801 SK-A was damaged by flak south of Sizun, but he managed to return safely. He was posted from 165 Squadron on 5th November 1944 to 11 Group HQ. Source, 165 Sqdn. Operation Records Book, Nov. 44.
