Lee Chapman: Albert Rowley's mission to france in Typhoon JR446, it's true that he was shot down nr caen but he did not die. He was very badly burnt and as a result became a member of Sir Archibald McIndoe's Guinea Pig club. I know this as he was my Grandad. Sadly he passed away in 1998. p.s airfix make a model of this actual plane complete with Grandads flight number.
