100 Group Operations
192 Squadron, flying from Foulsham, inaugurated 100 Group's operations by dispatching 4 Wellingtons on radio-countermeasures flights. (These operations are recorded as 'R.C.M. sorties' in subsequent diary entries. The loose term 'R.C.M.' covered a variety of operations and some R.C.M. aircraft also carried bombs which were dropped on main or decoy targets.) No aircraft lost.
Minor Operations: 4 Mosquitoes to Essen, 29 Stirlings and 15 Wellingtons minelaying from Brest to Bayonne, 7 O.T.U. sorties. No losses.
