I have been researching my wife's uncle William David Evans who was the Navigator on Lancaster WS M ED 551, and we are pleased to say we found out what had happened to this aircraft and the crew on their mission from which they did not return, I have now put together a project of his life for the family, all we ever new was that he was missing with no trace that has now been answered thanks to this site for which we are very grateful, thank you so much.
