Aircraft flown by J/44192 F/O Thomas Merville Jones 438 SQN RCAF.
Hit by flak, abandonned aircraft, parachuted, captured and sent to POW camp. Ironically, he escaped on May 9th, a day after the war ended and made his way to France to call his fiancee back in Canada.
