Made pictures of scenes from "the Longest Day". First the house of the crazy Frenchman waving with his flag and helmet from 1914. More difficult was finding the bunker of Pluskat, the first German looking at the Allied fleet. With the help of some locals able to find.

The real story of the bunkers: http://www.backtonormandy.org/overview/1-army-/v-corps-usa/1-infantry-division-usa/16-infantry-regiment-usa.html

Showed the Jerusalem cemetery for the NVA DVD.
Joined a small ceremony at Caen near the Memorial, met the chairman and veteran of the merchant ships society and went to Ranville on the big cemetery for a commemoration.

And had a nice talk during dinner to a member of "Keep them Rolling".
All the GPS locations and photos will be published soon. The GPS will be very useful for later visitors.
