Flight of Mustang I AP263 and Flight Lieutenant G Holloway on 1943-08-30
On 1943-08-30, Pilot G Holloway (Flight Lieutenant, RAF) with an unknown servicenumber, flew a Mustang I with serial AP263 for this duty: Rhubarb. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss: Ditched. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 16. The location for the map is the English Channel. Circumstances at the end of this mission for Holloway: he died, but circumstances of death are unknown. There is no commemoration location known.
