In the village were I was born (Wassenaar, Netherlands) many people were killed for different reasons caused by war. Frederik van Willem Dam, Police sergeant, age 23, was one of them. He/she found the death at 1940-05-14 in Wassenaar. The place were he or she stayed before was in Wassenaar This information has mostly been supplied by the 'Stichting Oranjehotel' and the relatives or friends of the victims. Also by the society 'Erepeleton Waalsdorp' and the archive of the municipality of Wassenaar and has not been checked for historical correctness.
