The story

Disembarking took place at approximately 1700 hours on an almost dry beach the following day. The journey was quite uneventful apart from a few depth charges being dropped by escorting naval craft.
After all vehicles and personnel had been got ashore, the party in convoy proceeded to its Concentration Area slightly South West of BAYEUX.
