This photograph is most likely one of the last to be taken of this aircraft and crew. The photo is date-stamped 1944 on the back. The aircraft was shot down on the night of 19/20 Feb 1944 on an operation to Leipzig. It crashed near Tolbert (17 km WSW of Groningen, Netherlands).
