The story

On 1944-10-13, Navigator / Radio Operator V Kepak (Warrant Officer, PAF) with servicenumber P.780236 flew a Mosquito NFXII with serial DZ302 V for this duty: Patrol. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss: Took off from Coltishall 02/50 on an Anti-Diver Patrol. A He.111 H-22 carrying a suspended V.1 flying bomb was sighted and they immediately attacked it, but were killed when rhe German Aircraft exploded. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 307. The location for the map is Coltishall, United Kingdom. Circumstances at the end of this mission for Kepak: he was killed. He is commemorated at: Runnymede Memorial, United Kingdom.
