On 1941-07-09, Pilot N G Baxter (Pilot Officer, RAF) with servicenumber 87367 flew a Spitfire Vb with serial W3169 for this duty: Circus. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss are unknown. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 54. The location for the map is the English Channel. Circumstances at the end of this mission for Baxter: he was killed. He is commemorated at: Enquin-Sur-Baillons Churchyard, France.
