Circumstances of the aircraft loss: Shot down. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 401. The location for the map is St Omer where 401 sqn clashed with 20+ Bf-109s and new Fw-190s. Circumstances at the end of this mission for Sprague: prisoner of war (PoW). There is no commemoration location known.
