The story

On 1945-04-29, Pilot B Cartmel (Flight Sergeant, RAF) with servicenumber 1512014 flew a Meteor III with serial EE273 K for this duty: Patrol. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss: Collided with EE252 and crashed South-West of Fassberg, Luneberg Heath. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 616. The location for the map is Fassberg Germany. Circumstances at the end of this mission for Cartmel: he was killed. He is commemorated at: Becklingen War Cemetery Germany.
