Alt Name: --. Opened: 1940. Status in 1944: RAF. 7 Grp. Bomber HCU. Current use: Gliding. Remarks: Full on 3-runway wartime layout affair, complete with hangars. Some parts of airfield now gone, rest operational and the excellent Newark Air Museum.
