Alt Name: Longside. Opened: 1941. Status in 1944: RAF. 13 Grp. Night Fighter Fwd A/F.. Current use: Airfield. Remarks: Sold off 1959. Wartime site is being used for oilfield pipeline storage. Longside was a heliport for many years but is now entirely GA traffic. (06/2010)
