The story
Alt Name: Cattewater. Opened: 1917. Status in 1944: RNAS. Flying Boat Station. Current use: Industry. Remarks: 237 and 238 Sqn. Mountbatten has been handed over to some kind of Local Development Corporation. I believe the Officers Mess has, or soon will be, turned into a hotel and the rest of the site developed for housing and/ or light industrial use.
