Alt Name: Bridgend. Opened: 1918. Status in 1944: RAF. 41 Grp. Storage Unit. Current use: RRS. Remarks: Closed 1946. To US Navy but the airfield has now been vacated. A lot of upgrading and building took place during the USN's occupation, including a building on the main runway.
