The story
Alt Name: --. Opened: 1937. Status in 1944: 8th AF. 4th Fighter Group. Current use: Disused. Remarks: Excellent condition - the two (not three) original runways are still extant with a post-WWII asphalt surface in good condition. C-Type hangars also extant together with other buildings in the technical area and elsewhere. Has a big radar on top of a tall tower also on site.
