The story

An increased effort was dispatched with the approach of the full moon period and, for the first time in night raids, the aircraft of each group were allocated their own separate target area.
DÜSSELDORF
30 Hampdens but heavy cloud over target. 1 aircraft lost.
BREST, LE HAVRE
38 Wellingtons; a direct hit was claimed on a cruiser at Brest. No losses.
BORDEAUX AIRFIELD, CALAIS
31 Whitleys; good bombing results claimed at Bordeaux but the freshmen crews found Calais covered by cloud. No losses.
DUNKIRK, OSTEND, QUIBERON, AIRFIELDS
37 Blenheims; no losses.
6 Hampdens minelaying off St-Nazaire. 1 aircraft lost.

12 Blenheims on Circus operation to St-Omer airfield; 9 bombed. 1 further Blenheim to Le Havre turned back. No losses.
