Hello! I would like to find out more about the history of The Highland Light Infantry, Second Battalion. My grandfather, Major Peter J. Shaw, served in it in India (now Pakistan) during the 1930's, and perhaps the late 1920's. Any information would be most welcome, especially any pertaining to Assay Day. I have a picture of him, on a parade ground in Razmak in about 1934, which was taken on Assay Day. I would be happy to share this photo with anyone who may be interested. If anyone might know of him, specifically, that would be wonderful! Also any information about famous past campaigns and history, in general. Thank you so much, in advance.
